New Client Consultation & Treatment

For those patients new to Aus Acu, the New Patient Initial Consult & Treatment allows for an extended time frame to discuss your history, health needs, and to comfortably enjoy your first Acupuncture experience at our clinic. Please bring either recent tests/reports, information on medication/supplements, and any other information you believe may be relevant.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing (if possible), and ideally visit during a time of day where you feel relaxed and can take some time immediately after the treatment to remain relaxed. Acupuncture doesn't have any ‘down time’, so if you do need to return to work or family duties, that’s absolutely fine. Immediately following your first treatment, it is normal to feel more calm, relaxed, and occasionally sleepy.

You are welcome to relax in our comfortable waiting room and enjoy sparkling water or tea until you are ready to leave. We will thoroughly discuss your treatment with you prior to performing any Acupuncture, to ensure you are comfortable and understand exactly what is happening. Relax: you are in good hands at Aus Acu!

Your Initial Consultation includes:

- 25mns consultation, Q&A, and treatment review
- 50mns acupuncture treatment (double-sided)
- Includes electroacupuncture and/or cupping (if required)
- Mini-Acupressure session (neck or feet)
